Handwoven towel in 100% cotton with fringes at the ends. It takes Samer half a day to weave one towel in his weaving studio in Syria. Samer is the 4th generation in the family who continues the weaving on the traditional wooden looms.

The towels were a luxury item in large parts of Europe and the Middle East before the war in Syria, but now it is difficult for Samer's family business to sell the towels.

They are woven in the softest cotton and become softer and more absorbent each time they come out of the wash. Withstands washing at 60 degrees and tumble drying.

None of the towels are exactly identical sizes, as Samer often gets absorbed in the weaving and color decisions and forgets to count centimeters along the way.

The towels are woven on an old hand-operated wooden loom by Samer. He is the 4th generation in the family to preserve and pass on this traditional craft.

None of the towels are identical sizes, as Samer often becomes engrossed in the weaving and color decisions and forgets to count centimeters along the way.

He is currently teaching the craft to his eldest daughter and dreams that it will continue to be possible to hand-weave carpets and towels in Hama in Syria, where the family of eight still lives.
